GRR: College Men
With over 30 games in DII conferences or non-conference games, we do have a few that carry significant rankings or conference ramifications.
Bloomsburg at Scranton and Georgetown at Towson. All four of these teams are undefeated in MARC conference play, with three of them at 3-0 and Georgetown at 2-0.
We have quite a bit to say about D1A and NCR D1 games, plus quite a bit to say about DIAA games, so this week we're splitting DIAA off into its own preview article.
It's been interesting to see how teams and players step up in cross-divisional games and more challenging games.
How a player steps into the fray when playing a team that is heavily favored or a big challenge is how we, over time, find special competitors. We do have some standouts in blowout games, but it's the close games we notice more.
The last few weeks we've seen several Men's DII players make an extra-big impact.

Aubrey Aird, GeorgetownA big attacking No. 8 who can break off huge runs, Aird has kicked off the season well for the Hoyas.
Nothing too shocking in the top 10, and really the top 15 in this week's D1A rankings. Army might slide down further once more teams get going, but right now they and Penn State hover just outside the top 10.
Utah State's fairly emphatic win over an admittedly depleted Colorado gets them into the Top 25. Air Force, which hung tough with CSU, is in, as well.
