The Atlantic Coast All Star team is set for the World University Rugby Invitational Tournament slated for this month in Bordeaux, France.
OK, we won't keep you in suspense, there are no changes.
There are no changes in our D1A rankings.
There will be more games as we go on, but right now, we didn't see anything (including Navy's loss to Trinity) that screamed "Change It!"
So, really, this is just for your records.
Surprises and upsets?
We certainly saw a few in men’s collegiate rugby action over the weekend. Here’s a look at a few results we thought were especially interesting this week.
WisconsinAfter a couple of relatively rough years the Wisconsin Badgers unleashed an impressive 41-29 defeat of University of Notre Dame.
A few outbreaks of the latest version of COVID meant for a couple of canceled games.
In addition, lightning kiboshed a game or two. Still we got to see some results and also two warmup tournaments that give us a little insight into how those teams look.
Wow what an interesting week in Men's college rugby.
While our top two were not in the thick of it—Brown played a preseason game where they were heavily favored, and St. Bonaventure played their alumni—many others were. This big game so far was Notre Dame College at Thomas More, and NDC came away with a quite impressive road win and they, of course, move up.
