There’s reason to be excited in the Rugby Northeast (RNE). The conference has seen some movement this fall season, and so far, it’s all been for the better. The Mid-Atlantic Rugby Conference (MARC) entered week two of league play and saw 12 of 14 teams in action. Last year's leaders, Kutztown and Bloomsburg, put up big numbers, defeating their respective opponents by a combined 157-5. (See full standings here)

The Illinois conference is a hybrid league, mixing DI and DII women’s colleges together. The season-openers saw two cross-divisional matches occur, and the DI teams won both.
Tri-State opened up its women’s college season this weekend, seeing four DII matches take place alongside three DII hybrid/NSCRO games. The traditional DII leaders – Rutgers and Vassar – won on the road, while Marist and Hofstra also started the fall in good form.
