On Saturday, Chico State defeated Nevada and UC Davis defeated UC Santa Cruz to set up the much-anticipated Pacific Western championship game between those two teams. Meanwhile, Princeton beat Penn 45-0 Friday to advance Sunday's Ivy League play-in against Brown.
The University of Missouri won two games over the weekend without taking the field and now Mizzou is officially the Heart of America conference champs with a 7-0 record.
Both Iowa State and Nebraska were on the schedule to play Missouri this weekend, but Iowa State forfeited some time ago and Nebraska forfeited this week, leaving Mizzou with no one to play.
Western Washington as much as clinched 1st in the Northwest Collegiate Rugby Conference Saturday with a 62-7 defeat of their closest rivals, University of Washington.
The NCRC has a big weekend coming, after an intriguing set of games on Saturday.

While the biggest news out of the NCRC may well be how a football player feels about rugby, there is more going on in the Pacific Northwest.
