GRR: USA U20s
Now that the USA U20 men have won their series with Canada they look ahead to the World Rugby Trophy in Scotland.
The goal, of course, is to win the Trophy and qualify to make the U20 World Championships in 2025. but perhaps another goal might be to exceed last year’s frustrating 7th place, a tournament where they lost two games by less than a penalty goal.
The USA U20s were better than Canada U20s in almost every aspect (aside from the scrums) in winning the second game of the two-match World Rugby Trophy series 41-21.
The USA and Canada U20s are set to face off tonight in Langford, BC.

The USA Rugby U20s program is a melting pot of international experience, with players hailing from various backgrounds but united by their American eligibility and passion for the sport.
Were the USA U20s in trouble when they were down 18-7 against Canada on Saturday? Not really.
That’s part of the message from gameday captain Cade Crist. But the other part was they did feel the urgency. They needed to shore up their scrums, get some ball, and use the weapons they had.
