GRR: USA Rugby South
The USA Rugby South U19s once again won the Rugby Americas North championship, beating hosts Jamaica 18-15 in the final.
The South, which represents the USA in this tournament every year, opened up pool play with a 19-0 shutout of Cayman and a 17-5 win over Trinidad & Tobago.
Following on from their National Sevens Youth Championships win in Cleveland, the Panther Rugby Academy is looking to get another trophy at the NAI 7s.
The Panther program will field two U16 teams and will also compete in the U18 brackets.
But right now let's have a look at this group that won the Youth 7s in Ohio.
Panther Rugby Academy on the National Sevens Youth Championships over the weekend in Cleveland, but it certainly wasn't easy.
They had their obstacles for sure. They lost starter Tony Mack a few days before the event and another, Kai Campbell, in pool play both to injury. Those two losses hurt but they also revealed how tight this group was.

USA South is into the final of the Rugby Americas North U19 championship after just barely getting through the second round of games Friday in Kingston, Jamaica.
The Panthers had a tough game to start in a round-robin against teams from the opposite pool. They faced defending champs Mexico, who didn't have a great Day One but were still tough.
