GRR: USA 7s Tournament
The USA stop on the Sevens World Series will be in the LA area for the first time since 2007, and Kevon Williams is pretty excited about the prospect.
The USA 7s is going back to Carson, CA, where it began back in 2004.
That 2004 event lasted two days and drew about 11,000 fans in total. Expect it to be a bit better attended this time around.
The attendance at the USA 7s international tournament ticked up slightly from 2016, but was essentially unchanged from last year.
Day three started for the Eagles with a shot at the Cup as they faced South Arica.
While the Blitzbokke have been almost unbeatable all day. Well, they looked beatable against the Eagles on US soil, and only a very harsh call at the end of the game led to a South Africa win.
Saturday was Day Two of the USA 7s for the United States women’s team, and they started it by getting a little revenge, and ended it understanding they still have a ways to go.
