Rugby Texas logged an excellent weekend at the Rocky Mountain Challenge, taking both the Boys Tier 1 and Boys Tier 2 titles.
The HS all-star event is split into two tiers for boys and for girls, with Tier 1 being for U18s, and Tier 2 for U16s. Sophomores and Juniors can play up or down depending on age, but Seniors and Freshmen cannot.
The Dallas Harlequins Colts won the Rugby Texas championship Sunday, beating The Woodlands 15-13 in a tight, back-and-forth match.

Rugby Texas is down to a final four after this weekend's quarterfinals.
St. Pius X pulled off a relative upset, overcoming two red cards and a yellow (they were down to 12 players at one point) to be Allen 41-38 in overtime. David-John Selby kicked the game-winning penalty in overtime.
The Woodlands Youth Rugby Club held its first ‘Come and Take It’ Rugby Tournament in The Woodlands, Texas over spring break.
Katy defeated St. Thomas of Houston 62-7 in Texas HS D1 East Division action, showing once again that Katy is a team to watch.
Aidan de Villiera scored four tries in the game, while Max Palmer logged 27 pints on two tries, seven conversions, and a penalty. Gregor Gourlay, Grady Pope, and Jeremy Sanchez also scored tries.
