After a long fall sprinkled with losses, St. Bonaventure won games against Notre Dame College and Buffalo in November, and then capped off their fall with a 19-17 victory over MAC Runner-up Western Michigan in the ACRC Bowl Series.
In a day of tight, thrilling games, Indiana held off Kutztown University 38-34 in a clash of GRR’s #2 and #5.
The game had everything - physical defense, a variety of tactics, exciting plays, and a dramatic ending.
Andrew “Tui” Osborne, who coached Life University to two national championships in men’s rugby, has joined the St. Bonaventure men’s rugby team as associate head coach.

In the final weekend of Rugby East action, Penn State defeated previously-unbeaten Kutztown, but KU did just enough to secure the conference championship.
Both teams scored three tries, with Penn State kicking three conversions and a penalty for 24 points, while all three of Kutztown’s tries went unconverted, leaving the score 24-15.
A couple of notable results were recorded over the past weekend, as two teams that have not won much at all this fall found themselves in the W column.
St. Bonaventure, 1-5 in the Rugby East, defeated #16 Notre Dame College 34-29. Buffalo, 0-6 in Rugby East, faced a longtime rival in Brockport, and won big, 101-17.
