This weeks' Goff Rugby Report Men's DI College Rankings sees St. Mary's edge up and Arkansas State, Lindenwood, and Central Washington do the same thanks to recent results (and Kutztown's idleness.
Air Force drops down thanks to their loss to Colorado State, and CSU moves up, while other teams move up basically because they've been playing and winning.
(Updated) Danville retains their #1 status in part because the Royal Irish got snowed out and couldn't produce a result to move themselves back up. KC Jr. Blues move to #3 in our Goff Rugby Report Boys HS Club rankings, and so go the Colorado Springs Grizzlies, and Liberty, because they produced impressive results, and the San Diego Mustangs aren't playing yet.
There's more movement this week as more leagues play. We applaud Thomas Aquinas of Overland Park, Kan. visiting Colorado - that's the kind of cross-border competition we like to see. The fact they lost those games to Regis Jesuit and East HS helps us rank those teams, as well.
The big news in the Women’s DI College Top 20 is the fall of New Mexico, which played a devastating game against Women’s Cougar Rugby (BYU) last weekend. Yes, it was a pre-season friendly, and yes, the game was held on BYU’s home turf, but a 100-point difference is significant. Read more here.
