We actually don't have too many changes this week and we're sorry we're late with this.
Life of course moves up after beating Lindenwood. We have to keep everyone in this line because Lindenwood beat BYU who beat Cal. Yes we could move Saint Mary's ahead of Cal but not yet.
First off, just before the weekend, D1A released its Power Rankings for February.
Here they are:
Seven teams move at least four spots this week.
We took a closer look at Sam Houston State and realized we had dismissed an early result that we should not have, so the Bearkats move up. San Jose State keeps on winning and the Spartans are now at #12.
Should we have moved BYU to #1?
It's a very legitimate question, and maybe if we didn't have a bunch of other big games coming up for various teams we might have. But of course BYU did lose to Lindenwood. So the net question is ...
Should we have moved Lindenwood to #1?
We do have a couple of new teams in our Top 40.
San Jose State is battling in a very tough California Conference and with a 27-26 win over Stanford they bump themselves in. Stanford, for their part, are right on the cusp.
