GRR: Marin Highlanders
Menlo-Atherton produced a very nice performance in beating HS Club #17 Granite Bay 29-24 Saturday.
In our tracking of college commits for the fall semester, we've got a large number of players from the Marin Highlanders out of Northern California connecting with college rugby programs all over the country, from Oregon to Wisconsin to Arizona to West Point.
The Marin Highlanders ended their tour of England and Wales with a victory Sunday over Llantwit Major of Wales.
The tour was planned and run by Irish Rugby Tours, and included a slate of competitive games that provided the Highlanders with the right rugby experience.
It's been active on the field and off for the Marin Highlanders as they tour England and Wales.
In Bath, the boys toured the Bath Rugby Stadium, followed by a really nicely-run training session with one of the Bath rugby coaches. Next, they were off on a tour of the historic city of Bath, highlighted by visits to the Bath Abbey and the Roman Baths.
It's been a busy time for both Marin and Mystic on tour with Irish Rugby Tours.
Marin has a tough game against Walcott RFC, especially when they were forced to move some players around.
