World Rugby has announced the return of the Sevens World Series with a reduced XX-tournament schedule starting in May but mostly being played after the Olympics.
World Rugby has announced a change to the 2020-2021 HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series.
After earlier shuttering the rest of the 2019-2020 season and declaring the existing standings leaders the champions (New Zealand for both men and women, as it happened), World Rugby has now been forced to adjust the coming season as well.
The total attendance for the 2020 LA Sevens has been announced at just over 31,000 for the weekend.
The USA took 5th at the LA Sevens, rebounding from a very unlucky quarterfinal to beat France and Ireland on Day Two.
