The College Rugby Association spring championships weekend is set for April 30 at Aveva Stadium in Houston with four major titles set to be handed out.

Three of those will be for women, including the Spring Championships for D2 and D1. The D2 semifinals will actually be held on Friday, April 29 leading into the championship day.

The D1A rankings are going to be very important in the next couple of weeks as we look to the playoffs in April.

Conference champions automatically qualify for the playoffs and host a game, but who else gets in, and who hosts games come down to the totality of their performances. Some of those totalities are clear and easy to track, some not so much.

Lindenwood clinched their first ever Mid-South rugby title by beating Davenport 43-6 at home over the weekend.

The match was controlled by the Lions from the opening kickoff. Lindenwood scored seven tries by seven different players earning them the win and the needed bonus point to win the conference.

This weekend's D1A offering includes a chance for Lindenwood to clinch the Mid-South, a huge non-conference clash between BYU and Arizona, and the latest in Army's preparation tour.
