GRR: DI Women College
Saturday sees Aveva Stadium in Houston as the venue for the College Rugby Association of American 8x8 Sports 15s Championship Weekend.
The event will have two major college 15s national championship games, plus two more spring championship games.
The Men's D1A Final will be held at 6PM Central Time Saturday, with Saint Mary's taking on Army West Point.
The five finalists for the 2021-22 MA Sorensen Award have been named.
We know the D1 Elite and the D1 Women's College finalists.
Both games will be part of the CRAA Finals Weekend April 30 at Aveva Stadium in Houston.
In D1 Elite Life and Lindenwood both posted shutouts in the semis.
In D1, there was one shutout, for Virginia, and BYU did allow a penalty goal.
It will be Virginia vs Virginia Tech in one bracket and BYU vs Grand Canyon in the other in the Women's D1 Spring playoffs.
Those four teams all won quarterfinal games on Friday, setting up Saturday's semis.
Virginia rode a sterling second half to put North Carolina to the sword 64-7.
