GRR: College Commits
Baylor University has six new commits on campus now as the Bears look to bolster their depth this year.
Andrew Cayasso is a 6-3, 200 flanker who has represented the Cayman Islands U19s at 7s and 15s, and is being fast-tracked as a possible full international for Cayman. He comes in as a freshman and will be a huge (literally) addition to the back row.
The latest list of college commits includes some fancy talent among girls HS rugby in Wisconsin.
While the Badger State is dispersing its abilities throughout the land, on the men's side, Utah is bringing in more players, including a few transfers, while Cal has officially named its 14-player incoming freshman class. Some of those we listed before but we're listing them again.
This is a weird time for college recruiting as the COVID-19 pandemic has led schools to shift to online learning, or to shut down or curtail sports; meanwhile, reports are that college enrollment, expected to be down this year, is likely holding steady or may even be up at some institutions.
The latest list of college commits includes five for IUPUI in Indianapolis, while a recent Player Spotlight also finds a place.
