Central Washington followed up on Thursday's 63-12 defeat of Penn State, with a convincing victory over the US Naval Academy 69-8 on Saturday.
“Central Washington has a really strong squad and they played like it today,” said Navy Head Coach Murph McCarthy. “We’re glad they came out from Washington to play us today but we have work to do.”
Central Washington defeated Penn State 63-12 Thursday night in the opening D1 Elite game for the Wildcats.
This is part of CWU's tour of the east coast. The Wildcats will take on Navy on Saturday.
The D1A playoffs start this weekend with the four teams in that division playing semifinals Saturday and the final on CRAA Finals Weekend on April 30.
