Eagan, Minnesota product Emmanual Albert is a finalist for the Rudy Scholz Award because he has become the foundation upon which Lindenwood's best-ever 15s season has been built.
Quiet but a leader, Albert plays lock and flanker and excels at both.
Johannesburg, South Africa native, Arkansas State scrumhalf, and Scholz Award finalist TJ van Rensburg is, said his Head Coach Jake Mizell, a dream to coach.
“Not only is he an amazing rugby player, he’s also a very good student, as well as a resident assistant for the Northpark Quads," said Mizell. "He does a great job of managing all those roles as well as being the team captain.
Jack Wendling was a star for the Chuckanut youth program in northern Washington State before joining Central Washington University.
Central Washington prop forward Mae Sagapolu is a finalist for the 2021 MA Sorensen Award as the top women's collegiate rugby player in the USA.
A powerful scrummager and imposing ballcarrier, Sagapolu hits the rucks and makes the tackles but she is also a great passer and intelligent rugby player overall.
Kat Stowers is a finalist for the 2021 MA Sorensen Award as the best women's collegiate player in the USA.
