Ohio State and Indiana have essentially clinched a spot in the Big Ten championship game after both teams won over the weekend.
Josh Leidich, Ryan Bradfield, and Luke Downs all scored two tries for Ohio State as the Buckeyes beat Wisconsin 69-15. OSU got a penalty try, plus tries from Nolan Skelly, Andrew Baldado, and Vince Carso Fullback Conor Forrestal added 15 points with the boot.
Indiana beat Purdue 62-15 wth freshmen Will Chevalier and Russell Lemaster scoring five tries between them. Michael Nettleton added five conversions.
So now Ohio State sits 5-1 and IU is 5-0. In 3rd is Illinois (39-5 winners over Minnesota) but Illinois has no more league games left. Michigan and Michigan State both have games left, but not enough.
So the final playoff day will likely look like this:
Championship Match: Ohio State vs Indiana
3rd/4th: Michigan State vs either Illinois or Michigan
5th/6th: Wisconsin vs Michigan or Minnesota
7th/8th: Purdue vs Minnesota or possible Michigan
