USA Rugby Board Chairman, Will Chang and Vice Chairman Rob King, both announced their stepping down from the leadership group effective today, Thursday, May 31st.

Both Directors, having been instrumental in bringing the Rugby World Cup Sevens 2018 to the US, informed current Board member, Barbara O’Brien of their resignation. O’Brien will now assume the role of Interim Chair.

“I want to thank Will and Rob for their dedication to USA Rugby for almost a decade,” said O’Brien, “It has been a pleasure to work with them since my joining the organization and wish them the very best in future endeavors.”

Information on the election of replacement Board members will begin in due course.
