Boys HS National Championships to be Held May 2022 in Indiana
The 2022 Boys HS National Championships will be held May 19, 20, and 21.
The three-day event will once again feature one 60-minute game for each team every day. The games are 60 minutes to allow for overtime, and each team plays a quarterfinal, a semifinal (Cup or 5th-place), and a placement game.
There are three brackets, with a Single-School Bracket, HS Club Bracket, and a Tier II which has both types of teams. In 2021, the Tier II bracket was entirely made up of club teams, and was won by the San Diego Mustangs. Thunder Rugby won the HS Club championship, and Herriman HS won the Single-School championship.

The 2022 Boys HS National Championships will be held at the Moose Rugby Grounds in Elkhart, Ind. With three superb grass fields plus permanent cover from the elements and space for warming up, the Moose Rugby Grounds are well-positioned to host the event, and in fact did so eight years ago when the current version of the championships (run by the teams themselves not by USA Rugby) kicked off. Teams will again be selected via application process in early January.
