Goff Rugby Report is having a closer look now at what collegiate rugby conferences are canceling play for the fall.

It's likely that almost all will actually suspend league play, even if some teams can play. And we are hearing that the Service Academies will have a good shot at playing because of their ability to isolate and test students early. Below is our list of conferences and whether they are playing this fall or not. We have a number of blank entries below, and that's partly because a number of conferences are run by the teams themselves, and often those can be volunteer coaches or student-athlete-coaches, and they haven't necessarily assembled to discuss matters.

In addition, some conferences are in areas where the COVID-19 pandemic doesn't seem to be hitting as hard, but all that does is make people wait to see if it will be a problem in a week or two or three. Then you also have multi-state conferences. The Minnesota Rugby Union highlighted this issue with a policy that all of the states with teams in a specific league will have to be at the stage that allows sports competition for a league to be able to be active. That would include North Dakota and South Dakote.
