USA Rugby Reorganization Gets Deadline Extension
USA Rugby Reorganization Gets Deadline Extension
The USA Rugby reorganization plan is apparently revising its timeline after some somewhat positive news at the end of January.
A more detailed financial report has indicated that USA Rugby won't, in fact, run out of money in March, but will instead run out of money in May. While there is still a huge cash flow problem within the organization, the deadline to come up with a plan isn't as tight as once thought.
The Reorganization Task Force will now have probably a month longer in which to formulate a plan going forward for USA Rugby, including a new set of By Laws, a new dues plan, and a revised plan for High Performance.
Meanwhile, other organizations are already making moves to separate from USA Rugby.

The plan is still to have the Reorganization Task Force work out agreements with various American rugby communities (Youth, College, and Club), and there remains a gap between when the money supposedly runs out, and when a new Board will be elected.
