USA Rugby Actively Seeking New CEO
GLENDALE, Colo. – The USA Rugby Board of Directors have opened applications for the new Chief Executive Officer of the Union.
With the support of Bloom Sports Partners, an all-encompassing executive search will remain open until the USA Rugby Board have compiled a suitable list of qualified candidates. The newly recruited CEO will take over leadership, strategic planning, and oversight of all operations of USA Rugby, including direction across the National Office staff and High-Performance programs, as well as the management of relationships with external partners like World Rugby, the USOPC, and all other domestic and global stakeholders.

Current CEO Ross Young will be transitioning to head up the USA Rugby World Cup hosting effort.
USA Rugby Board Chair, Tom Cusack, said on the executive search, “It’s important that we are thorough and detailed in our search for the next CEO. Stakeholders in our community and those who have held the position previously can attest that the CEO position is challenging, but imperative to the leadership success of USA Rugby.
