Penn State to 2-0 in Big 10
Penn State moved to 2-0 in the Women's Big Ten Universities Conference with a workmanlike 55-12 defeat of Michigan Saturday.
Michigan tested Penn State early, and it was only 18-12 at halftime. But Penn State, which ran out most of their 1st-teamers against the women's club NOVA, opened things up in the second half.
The victory sets up a potential big-time conference decider on October 25 against Indiana, which is 4-0. Michigan drops to 1-3. Before they get to the Indiana game, Penn State will have to face off with 2-1 Ohio State next week.
