HS Nationals Sign Hooligan, Tsunami To Deal
The Boys High School National Championship committee is pleased to announce a partnership with Hooligan Rugby and Tsunami for their 2018 event. The tournament will again be held at Swope Soccer Village in Kansas City, MO on May 17-18-19, 2018.
The new partnership will place Hooligan Rugby (Olathe, KS) as the sole rugby vendor at the boys championship. Hooligan and Tsunami have agreed to supply full kit for the referee pool, game balls and three sets of Tsunami jerseys. The jerseys will be awarded by the committee and Hooligan staff to three teams that display exceptional rugby sportsmanship, travel with impressive fan support, and frankly represent the game well on and off the field. They may or may not be the ultimate winners of the event, but will have proven to be winners of the rugby culture.
Committee member Bart Bottorff said, "Hooligan was a great on site vendor for us last year in KC and we know this partnership only makes the tournament stronger. We welcome and are thrilled to have the support of both Hooligan and Tsunami."
Any high school boys team may apply for participation in the tournament by filling out an application. This process begins January 1 and closes 30 days later. Applications may be found here in the coming days.
