Boys HS Nationals Brackets Set
The Boys High School Rugby National Championship has announced its seedings for the three brackets of the competition, to be held May 19-21 at the Rugby Athletic Center in Charlotte, NC.
Last year, Royal Irish just got by Granite Bay in the multi-school championship, while Gonzaga edged Jesuit in the single-school. Union County (NJ) won the Combined bracket, but won't be participating this year.
Single-School
In the single-school bracket, defending champions Gonzaga take the #1 seed. Here are the rest of the seeds:

3. Penn HS
4. St. Edward
5. Xavier
6. Greenwich
7. Notre Dame de la Salette
8. Mira Costa
Of interest in this group is Mira Costa, which made the top bracket despite not having played much the last couple of months. Mira Costa plays as a single-school team in Southern California's single-school competition, which wraps up at the beginning of March. Costa won the Varsity White championship.
Multi-School
In the Multi-School bracket, defending champs Royal Irish are once again seeded #1:

2. Granite Bay
3. KC Jr. Blues
4. United
5. Phoenix
6. South Greenville
7. North Carolina Winner (Highlanders or Union County)
8. Rugby Pa Winner
Three teams who were not in this bracket last year - South Greenville, the NC winner, and the Rugby Pa winner - are now participating.
Combined
The teams from both single-school and multi-school brackets that were not seeded among the top eight are seeded in the Combined Bracket:
1. Pelham
2. Charlotte Catholic
3. St. Thomas Aquinas (Kan.)
4. North Carolina Runner-Up (Union County or Chapel Hill)
5. Brownsburg
