Boys HS Nationals Application Process Now Open

The application for the Boys HS Rugby National Championships is now open.

Teams can access the application form here>>

Teams will still be tracked for their performance through the winter/spring season but now is the time to apply. The deadline to apply is February 15, so teams that won't begin playing until later this year (which is a lot of them) should still have an idea of where they might compete this season.

The application asks teams to confirm their coaching and administration setup and their ability to pay the tournament fee and reserve hotel rooms in a timely manner.

The tournament will be held May 23, 24, and 25 (Thursday through Saturday) at the Moose Rugby Grounds in Elkhart, Ind.

Advice for Boys HS Nationals Applications

The Moose Rugby Grounds will feature three full-sized grass fields plus a field reserved for warmups. All fields are lined exclusively for rugby and the tournament is supported by top referees from around the USA as well as sponsors such as Major League Rugby, the US Rugby Foundation, and Next Phase Rugby.

The tournament will be shown live on The Rugby Network and last year's tournament was one of the most-watched events on TRN.

Here's a rough timeline for the application process:

February 15 Deadline to Apply

March - The BHSNC Committee will likely look for games during March that can serve as play-ins for teams from the same region that are potential competitors.

Late March to Early April - Decision Day

Unsure if you will be good enough this year to play at the National Championships? Apply! You can always retract your application if things don't go as planned during the season, but you cannot apply after the deadline and expect to get a spot at Nationals.
