USA Men's 15s Head Coach Mike Tolkin joined Alex Goff, Bruce McLane, and Pat Clifton on the RuggaMatrix America podcast this week to discuss the Eagles and the USA Selects going into the ARC.

Among the things Tolkin touched on was his philosophy of not taking too many risks in choosing his USA Selects team for the Americas Rugby Championship. Instead, he is looking to get game time for established domestic players, and look at a small few who could break into the Eagles.

Tolkin also discussed what is a very busy 12 months ahead for the USA National Team, with the ARC, four test matches in November, some practice games in the spring, as many as four test matches in the summer, and then the World Cup. Tolkin said he is not worried about injuries - they can't really be controlled - and instead is welcoming the tough matches ahead.
