GRR: Rankings
Of our HS Cub Top 50, 34 change ranking this week.
Now, most of them are dropping just one or two spots, which means someone is making a dramatic move up. Tribal comes into the rankings after their showing at the Puriri Memorial. We watched them play in person and we were very impressed.
Well we were waiting for that Big Game to bolster what we suspected, and we got it—St. Ignatius San Francisco beat Sacramento Jesuit.
We should have had Sam Houston State higher and they proved it this past weekend.
Rice was ranked higher thanks to last fall's 29-26 win over SHSU. But a more emphatic revenge win for the Bearkats has us switching the teams' places.
First off, just before the weekend, D1A released its Power Rankings for February.

With two champions crowned we have some important games in the School-Team rankings and, sadly, the final ones for those regions.
Southern California and North Carolina will shift to club play, so it will be tough for the likes of Los Alamitos and Hough to hang onto their rankings while other teams start playing.
