Many factors contributed to use being behind schedule and then Herriman was slated to play East HS Wednesday night and we figured, hey, let's just wait for that. After all, that was a top-10 matchup. It was worth it, as we knew it would be regardless of which team won.
Boys HS Club Top 50 2024: Week 15 We fielded a question this week ... had the Charlotte Cardinals won the Gonzaga Classic over Gonzaga would we have moved them to #1? The answer is ... unlikely. It was a tournament and a shortened game. It's tough to ditch a team out of the #1 slot over a shortened game. Had they won might we have moved them to #2? Maybe. But #3 seems right. Danville moves up after a close loss to De La Salle.
Boys School Top 50 2024: Week 14 We had some major rankings upsets this past week. Pelham, #21, beat #2 Xavier. Now, we're not completely sold that Pelham could duplicate Xavier's results throughout the season—this was a good wakeup call for Xavier for sure and it's defintiely evidence that Pelham is very good. But week-after-week-after-week? That's the question.
Boys HS Club Top 50 2024: Week 14 We have had to shuffle some teams. When a group has one team beat another which beat another which beat the first team, we have to make some decisions based on surrounding games. But, if another result comes in, we might change it all around again. So it is with Vienna, Forth Hunt, Aspetuck, and Richmond. With Richmond beating Vienna, we have moved things around a bit.
GRR D1A Rankings 2023-24 Week 25 With two weeks of playoff games to energize the latest D1A rankings we were excited to see what changes those results would bring. Ultimately, despite a new #1, we don't have much. Saint Mary's, Life, and Navy all could be #1. There are compelling reasons for any of them.
