GRR: Rankings
We should have had Sam Houston State higher and they proved it this past weekend.
Rice was ranked higher thanks to last fall's 29-26 win over SHSU. But a more emphatic revenge win for the Bearkats has us switching the teams' places.
First off, just before the weekend, D1A released its Power Rankings for February.

With two champions crowned we have some important games in the School-Team rankings and, sadly, the final ones for those regions.
Southern California and North Carolina will shift to club play, so it will be tough for the likes of Los Alamitos and Hough to hang onto their rankings while other teams start playing.
Seven teams move at least four spots this week.
We took a closer look at Sam Houston State and realized we had dismissed an early result that we should not have, so the Bearkats move up. San Jose State keeps on winning and the Spartans are now at #12.
We're about to enter the SoCal club season, which will have an effect on the top end of our HS Club Top 50.
With the North Carolina school season being done, we've got the Carolina Ruggerfest a little over a week from now, and the Puriri Memorial Invitational this coming weekend.
