GRR: National Teams
BOULDER, Colo. (USA Rugby) – Chris Wyles will captain the U.S. this summer as the Men’s Eagles prepare for Rugby World Cup 2015 England with a four-match World Rugby Pacific Nations Cup campaign.
BOULDER, Colo. (USA Rugby) - USA Rugby announced Thursday the first annual Men’s Junior and Collegiate Stars and Stripes Camp presented by WellDog.
The USA Men’s National 15s team will start play in the Pacific Nations Cup in a very busy 2015 season that will see them play, at minimum, ten full internationals, and 11 games in total.
And Head Coach has 50 players on his initial list of squad members for the year. We are here to answer the general question - who are these guys?
In a few days the USA Women will assemble for their first tests since the 2014 Rugby World Cup. Twenty-six players will head to Alberta, Canada, to face World Cup champion England, runner-up Canada, and 5th place New Zealand during the Super Series (which is essentially the Nations Cup with New Zealand and South Africa swapped).
The 50 players named to the USA Men’s World Cup training squad will need to be pared down to 31 by the time the Eagles leave for England in September.
