GRR: National Teams
The USA U18s lost both of their round-robin games today in Uruguay.
The U18s faced Chile in their opening shortened game today, losing 34-7 to a very speedy Condors side.
They USA U18s then fielded a different 15 against Uruguay and battled hard but lost 20-10, hurt by a couple of yellow cards. Chile played much faster rugby, while Uruguay was physically imposing.
Romania held on to defeat the USA 22-20 Friday night at Seat Geek Stadium in Chicago thanks in large part to a series of errors by the hosts that killed any sort of momentum they hoped to get in the second half.
The USA U18s Boys will be playing a round-robin with Chile and Uruguay Saturday in Montevideo.
The games will be 25-minute halves and all three teams will play twice at Estadio Charrúa in Uruguay's capital.
The USA U18 team will play Chile at 2:30ET on Saturday. This is the lineup for that game:
