TUTUKAKA, NZL – Still smarting from their loss to Italy, the USA is looking ahead to Japan for Round 2 of the Women's Rugby World Cup.
Head Coach Shawn Pittman has selected 26 Men’s Eagles prospects to travel and compete across two matches in Uruguay as the USA Falcons.
The first game will be against Uruguay XV on Thursday, October 13 and the second will be against Argentina XV on Tuesday, October 18. Live streaming details have yet to be confirmed by event organizers.
Italy defeated the USA 22-10 in the opening game of the Women's Rugby World Cup, played in Whangarei, New Zealand.
The Eagles will rue the first 30 minutes of the game in which they dominated field position and ball possession and could only score one try.

The USA team has three Harvard Rugby alumni on its roster, for example, with Maya Learned, Erica Jarrell, and Jenny Kronish suiting up.
Jarrell was co-captain of the team last season.
