BUCHAREST, Romania - USA Men's National Team Head Coach John Mitchell has named his lineup to face Romania Saturday at Stadionul Arcul de Triumf in Bucharest, bringing Todd Clever back as captain, and awarding new 15s caps to four players.
The USA Men's Under 20 program will hold evaluation camps starting in early December as Head Coach JD Stephenson works toward picking the team to play in the World Rugby U20 Trohpy Qualifier in June.
While several of the players from last year are expected to push for a return sport, but, as is the nature of the age-grade game, there will be plenty of holes to fill.
USA Head Coach John Mitchell will has a slightly different pool of players to choose from for Saturday’s meeting with Romania, compared to last week’s game with the Maori All Blacks.
The USA Men’s National Team has gone from the lights and welcoming environment of Chicago to old-world Bucharest and a stern test against Romania.
