Just under 60 players assembled in Southern California Saturday for the first combine for Pro Rugby North America.
The USA Under-20 camp is underway and the first day for what we call the AIG Men’s Junior All Americans was about getting the lay of the land.
The players were put through fitness and athletic testing and then after dinner their day wasn’t done, as they split up into various units to get some offensive basics down.
CASA GRANDE, Ariz.(USA Rugby Release) – USA Rugby has named its list of invitees to the AIG Men's Junior All-American winter camp at the Casa Grande Academy starting Saturday, Dec. 19, and running through Tuesday.
The National Development Summit will have a special additional session on Friday, with High Performance Friday featuring Australia Head Coach Michael Cheika, and USA Rugby High Performance Manager Alex Magleby.
The inaugural Americas Rugby Championship is taking off this February, and the USA will host three games in quick succession in February.
