The West has supplied the majority of players to the Girls High School All American (GHSAA) team preparing to face the British Columbia U18s next week. Twenty-one players hail from California (10), Washington (6), Colorado (3), and Oregon (2), while the remaining six hail from the Midwest (4) and East Coast (2). North Suburban won the Minnesota Girls High School State 7s Championship, bettering longtime powerhouse Armstrong 29-10 in the final. Armstrong had defeated Hopkins 36-7 in the semifinals, while North Suburban blanked a combination side of Orono, South Metro, and Minnetonka 51-0 for the title berth.
