High School Boys
The Rugby Colorado playoffs are set to start this coming weekend, with Regis Jesuit coming in as the #1 seed.
It’s playoff time in Southern California’s Boys HS Club competition, and playoffs that have been accelerated a little bit.
New Zealand touring side Rangitoto College faced off with SoCal single-school champs Mira Costa this past weekend in what turned out to be a real back-and-forth contest.
Mira Costa, which won the SoCal Varsity White Division back in February, hadn't played as a unit since then, but is now gearing up for a run at the Boys NIT. This game with Rangitoto was quite the wakeup.
Orlando nabbed the Florida Youth Rugby with a 23-21 victory over the Tampa Krewe.
This was a rematch of a game on April 9 that ended in a 12-12 tie.
Gonzaga rebounded form their disappointing loss to St. Edward on Saturday with a 21-6 defeat of St. Ignatius on Sunday.
