The Lindenwood tournament once again turned out a solid series of early-season games for teams in the middle of the country.
When all nine varsity games were done, St. Thomas Aquinas had logged two impressive victories, KC Jr. Blues and Notre Dame de La Salette split their games, Archbishop Moeller lost twice but had their moments, Bixby was competitive, and SLUH showed well.
Eastside Lions laid down a nice market with a 29-5 defeat of rivals Rainier Highlands Saturday in Washington state.
In snowy conditions, that became more messy after the sun showed up toe convert it all to slush, Eastside got two tries from Lewis Chambers and tries from Kai Holec and Parker Jackson.
Eastside also got a penalty try, while Kellen Eskridge added a conversion.

De La SalleIn pretty nasty weather De La Salle defeated Los Alamitos to win the All-California school final Saturday. Saint Mary’s College hosted the match despite the rain and in the game De La Salle unleashed an impressive defensive showing.

The Greer 76ers Rugby Club won the South Carolina Varsity Boys High School State Championship on Saturday, defeating Oceanside Collegiate Academy 20-14.
