High School Boys
We won’t have a Boys HS National Championships, but maybe we can speculate as to who would have won.
It’s all complete speculation, but we’re going to try anyway:
Goff Rugby Report is unveiling a data base of rugby players who are looking to get recruited by college teams or major academies.
Before rugby shut down for the spring, Goff Rugby Report put the Charlotte Tigers at #1 among High School clubs, and it’s a legitimate ranking.
The Tigers had just come out of a dominant performance at the Carolina Ruggerfest, winning games by large margins, often by shutout.
The 2020 Boys HS Rugby National Championships have been canceled.
The Organization Committee notified teams via email on Saturday, March 21. Committee Member Bart Bottorff said the decision was unavoidable with the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak not showing signs of slowing in time to bring life back to normal.
While GRR has already had a close look at the Tempe Rugby Club, we figured we'd give you an update.
As outlined in these pages, Tempe had some big dreams for 2020 thanks to a concentration on youth and developing players when they are young.
