College Rugby Coaches are still looking for players even into July, and with some new varsity programs part of the mix, there remain opportunities for graduating HS seniors to find a college place where they can also play some rugby.

With Goff Rugby Report’s recent long-term high school rankings, listing teams based on our end-of-season rankings from the past six seasons, a few programs stood out, and one of them is Fort Hunt.
The University of Utah men's team continues to reload nicely, while we see Lindenwood, GCU, Memphis, and Tennessee, as well as a nicely-building Alderson Broaddus program in West Virginia, add some impressive rugby and classroom talent.
This past spring, Saint Ignatius and Saint Edward did not play each other for the Rugby Ohio state championship; it took a pandemic shutdown of the high school rugby season to prevent these two heated rivals from meeting.
