Look for several changes in the original lineup of teams for the Boys HS National Championships.
Injuries and ripples from the COVID shutdowns have affected some teams who have opted to pull out. Meanwhile, a few teams have found they are a little stronger than expected and are in. The upshot is, it's going to be a great tournament, but how will it be seeded?
Belmont High School opened up the Massachusetts Interscholastic season with a defeat of longtime rivals BC High 24-17.
These two teams have been in every Massachusetts final for the past eight years or so, and opening up a much-delayed season against each other was tough, but it ended up being an entertaining game, and a much-needed one.

Albert Lea won the big showdown with Minnetonka in Minnesota's Boys HS league Wednesday night with a dramatic 28-19 comeback victory.
Minnetonka started much the stronger team, driving the Eagles back and scoring tree ties in the first 25 minutes to lead 19-0.
Rugby Indiana has been running a relatively low-key High School season this spring, but it ramps up this coming weekend.
