High School Boys
There are two weeks to apply for the 2022 Boys High School Rugby National Championships.
The tournament is slated for May 19-21, 2022 in Elkhart, Ind. at the Moose Rugby Grounds. As in previous years, there will be three brackets: School Teams, HS Clubs, and a Tier II. Every team will play one 60-minute game each day in a bracket format.
New Orleans Jesuit opened their Louisiana Rugby season with an emphatic 53-14 defeat of defending state champs Brother Martin.
Coming off a 47-12 win over Dallas Jesuit, New Orleans back up that result with a strong showing against Brother Martin.
Strake Jesuit opened u their Rugby Texas season with a 36-10 defeat of Allen Saturday.
The Crusaders scored five tries in the first half to take a commanding 26-5 lead into halftime. The second half began with a quick score by Allen to make the score 26-10, but Strake Jesuit responded with two additional tries to put the game away.
We're starting to see the stronger teams make a move in Southern California, but at the same time the SCIRF top league is bunching up.
