High School Boys
Gonzaga College High Schools national championship record reached a high point this weekend.
There is no doubt they are the best school team in the country. Some teams get close, but when we’re talking single-school teams, we’re talking Gonzaga.
We're going to talk in more depth about the finals of the Boys HS Championships, but here's a very quick look at the three finals.
Here's where we are at HS Nationals.
Day Two Scores:
SS Cup SF: St. Edward 0-52 Gonzaga
SS Cup SF: St. Ignatius 18-10 Herriman
SS 5th Pl. SF: St. Thomas Aquinas 11-50 Xavier
SS 5th Pl. SF: Greenwich 18-5 St. Martin
For the first time since 2017 there will not be a Californian team in the final of the HS National Championships Club Division.
A brilliant tactical game from Charlotte Cardinals and a powerful performance from The Woodlands put those teams into the final.
St. Ignatius and Gonzaga will meet up in the Boys HS Nationals SIngle-School final after both won semifinals Friday.
The two teams won their games in very different ways.
