High School Boys
Led by an outstanding game from flyhalf Jack O'Malley and some breakaway tries from Jack Lamancusa, Rockford HS won the Rugby Michigan Boys HS state championship this month, beating Traverse City Alliance 56-25 in the championship game.
Berks County Rugby 7s entered two teams into the Delco 7s this past weekend, taking home two team and two individual trophies after a 7-1-2 day.
We do have several changes in the final Boys HS School-team Top 50, all based on results.
This has been a strange season for rivals Staples and Greenwich.
The two teams ended up facing off three times and came awfully close to making it four. Their first meeting was a regular-season game which Staples won 28-16. Their next meeting was at HS National Championships, where Greenwich garnered revenge with a 30-12 result.
There’s that old saying, be careful what you wish for, but what about the opposite?
