Charlotte, NC – Queens University of Charlotte Director of Athletics Cherie Swarthout has announced the addition of men’s and women’s rugby to the departments sport lineup. Both teams will begin competition in the spring of 2018.

The National Intercollegiate Rugby Association, the league of NCAA Varsity women's college rugby teams, has named its All American list for the 2016-17 season.

Thirty-one athletes were chosen from the 14 college teams competing in NIRA, with another 12 making honorable mention. Here is the list:
