Marietta, Ga. – The Life U Women’s Rugby Camp will be bolstered by the addition of a special coach this summer. Kathy Flores, a pioneer in rugby coaching will be one of the featured instructors, adding to the world-class staff.
The Women's College 7s Championship is happening this weekend, and with Norwich unable to make the trip to Denver, a new champion will be crowned. We take a look at each pool and lend some predictions below, but be sure to watch this two-day event on USA Rugby TV, which will be live-streaming games.
2015 was the first season that necessitated a separate women’s 7s ranking, as programs have really embraced the spring 7s model. Additionally, since tournaments aren’t separated by division but rather “competitive” and “open,” DI and DII colleges (and one small college) are funneled into one list.
Approximately 70 of the 90 invitees are attending this weekend’s Midwest Women’s U24 Elite Camp in Delafield, Wis., hosted by Oconomowoc RFC.
With the national champion (re)crowned, it’s time for one last Women DI College Top 20 for the 2014-15 season. There were some important crossover matches during the spring playoffs, and they jostled the top half of the list.
