College Women
One side of the women's college 7s championship quarterfinals was exciting; the other saw a couple of lopsided scores. The morning began with Penn State and Stanford, and their traditional rivalry played out wonderfully. Princeton and Lindenwood followed, and that game came down to one try.
(additional reporting by Owen Goff) Pool play has ended and eight teams remain in the hunt for the Women’s College 7s National Championship. The top two finishers in each pool moved into the Cup competition; the #3 teams in each pool will start at the semifinal phase and play for the Bowl; and the four #4 teams will play for the Shield.
(additional reporting by Owen Goff) Some good 7s has been played through the first two rounds of the Women's College 7s National Championship, but the best game thus far has been between California and Lindenwood. The pair were the favorites in Pool D, but the Lady Lions laid early claim to the top spot with a 15-10 victory.

Even though Humboldt State and UN Reno women's teams performed well at DII playoffs this year, the West Coast conference in its entirety struggled in 2015.
