College Women
It will be a 2022 rematch in the final of the NCR Women's D1 playoffs.
Notre Dame College and Michigan will face off once more.
This coming Saturday's NIRA Finals Day matchups are now set after this weekend's semifinals.
Here's what happened:
Harvard and DartmouthHarvard defeated Sacred Heart in impressive fashion 60-5. Sophomore Lennox London scored three tries to lead the Crimson.
For the most part the NCR Women's D1 college playoffs have gone to form.
Defending champs Michigan held off a very good Southern Nazarene team 30-20.
Northern Iowa continued their excellent run over form with a 53-24 victory over Virginia Tech.
So UNI will take on Michigan in the semifinals Sunday in St. Louis.
Notre Dame College finished strong and rode a power scrum to defeat a talented Iowa State squad to advance to the NCR D1 Women's College semifinals Friday in Elkhart, Ind.
The Falcons, who made the D1 final last year only to fall to Michigan, rebounded from a couple of impressive breakaway tries from the Cyclones to set up a Sunday semifinal with Indiana.
Paced by a pretty nifty backline and four tries from outside center Shaianne McGruder, Indiana defeated the University of Virginia 31-15 in the NCR Women’s D1 quarterfinals in Elkhart, Ind.
In a game that was most certainly back-and-forth, McGruder’s pace, and the timing of her tries were the difference.
