Many games in men's college rugby this month are up in the air as the Omicron variant of COVID sweeps through the region.
Colleges have closed campuses or gone remote, making assembling a rugby team impossible or, in some cases, against school policy.
Still, it's not the same everywhere. Here is what we see so far:

Arkansas State opened their spring season with a 43-19 win over the Dallas Rugby Football Club in muddy conditions Saturday at the Little Rock Rugby Complex.
Try scorers were TJ van Rensburg, Matt Hickey, Aidan Ridgway (three), Evan Roode, and Mazvitaishe Nyamarebvu, with van Rensburg adding a conversion and Nyamarebvu adding three.
Grand Canyon defeated Utah Valley 43-5 to open up the 2022 campaign for both teams.
This was a relatively late addition to the schedule as UVU was looking for a winter game and GCU was able to fit the Wolverines in.
